Weogufka is a small unincorporated community located in Coosa County, Alabama, United States. It sits on the eastern banks of Lake Martin, which is a popular destination for recreational activities such as boating, swimming, and fishing. The community has a population of less than 300 people and it is largely agricultural, with many farms producing crops like cotton, soybeans, and corn. It is also home to the historic Weogufka Center for Arts and Crafts, which provides classes and workshops in a variety of artistic disciplines. Weogufka is located about 30 miles southeast of the city of Birmingham, and it is accessible by several major highways including US-231 and US-280.
